Assessment Process
CTH scripts are externally assessed by qualified tutors engaged by CTH for their qualifications and experience in the relevant subject area. The scripts are then returned to CTH and moderated internally. Any inconsistencies are analysed by the moderators and, if required, they are sent to an external marker for re-assessment. The results are presented by the moderators to the Chief Examiner who analyses each centre’s grades and compares centres regionally and globally. The Chief Examiner then finalises the results for the examination session. The results are declared eight weeks after the last day of the examination session. This rigorous process ensures the grade given to each candidate is fair and appropriate across all candidates and all centres.

For the work experience programmme, a member of the CTH academic team will review the management report. A result will be issued within three weeks of receiving the report. The result will either be a Pass or Fail.
